Massive vapour-permeable foam with integrated reinforcement mesh is suitable for installation on concrete surfaces, concrete surfaces with beam reinforcements, wooden surfaces with slats (installation of clay roof tiles with clips) or roofing surfaces without slats (installation of clay roof tiles with polyurethane foam).
A vapour-permeable foil or a so-called secondary roof covering is a foil which does not block the flow of water vapour when exiting the construction assembly. It is installed only at the cold side of the roof. Water vapour can seamlessly flows through it and therefore no condensation occurs inside the roof or wall assembly. The reason for installing vapour-permeable foils is their protection against ingress of rainwater and condensate into the insulation or roof construction, while it also serves as an anti-wind protection, and therefore increases the living comfort by reducing energy losses and increasing the efficiency of insulation layer.
