Broad Alpe Jadran roof tiles

Broad Alpe Jadran roof tiles have a brick red colour and a smooth surface with slightly raised lines on the outer side. They have a trapezium shape, as do the Alpe Jadran regular roof tiles, yet the broader Alpe Jadran roof tiles are differentiated by their wider canal area. In the roof installation, broad Alpe Jadran roof tiles are used exclusively as lover elements (installed in a concave manner), therefore the channel for water drainage is broader than with the regular roof tiles. This reduces the use of pieces per square metre and simultaneously increases the roof installation speed.
It is attached to the foundation in the same manner as all other roof tiles and clay roof tiles. Even though they are used exclusively as lower covering elements, we can use any one of the other covering elements from the broad range of brick red and coloured clay roof tiles as the upper part.
The combination of roof tiles and clay roof tiles does not affect the overall appearance of the roof, but it does affect the stability and the carrying weight of the roof.

*broad Alpe Jadran roof tiles are meant to be used exclusively as lower roof tiles and we have to calculate the same amount of brick red or coloured clay roof tiles to be used as upper (covering) clay roof tiles.
